The application below is for potential enrollment in the Work-Based Learning Program for the 2026-2027 school year.  Submitting an application does not guarantee enrollment in the program. CHECK YOUR SCHOOL AND/OR PERSONAL EMAIL for questions and/or approval.  ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTATION such as your checkstub will be requested.

Thank you for your interest in the Work-Based Learning program! The Work-Based Learning program gives students a unique opportunity for students to learn two ways: school (taught employability skills) and work (at an off-campus site with a business/company). Students can receive course credit by completing a combination of coursework, required weekly work hours, and satisfactory employer evaluations. If you are interested in the program, please complete the WBL Application and send the link to two of your Spring 2026 teachers to complete the Teacher Recommendation Form for 2026-2027 listed below (Fall 2026 for Spring 2027).  It is the responsibility of the student to send the link to the teachers.

Completing the WBL Application ONLY STATES THAT YOU ARE INTERESTED - IT DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU WILL BE SCHEDULED FOR WBL. *Final approval is pending on your Application, inquires into your Attendance & Disciplinary history, and two teacher recommendation forms from your CURRENT TEACHERS.  You may also be asked to provided current checkstubs or documentation.  Students who have been approved will be notified by EMAIL from Mrs. Christian.
ON-CAMPUS Internships are NOT GUARANTEED!  Teachers DO NOT determine if on-campus internships are granted.  You can inquire with a teacher, but AGAIN, ON-CAMPUS internships are NOT guaranteed.  They are very limited and based on your career pathway.
