2026 Riverside County: Highgrove and University City Community Cleanup
🌿 Thank you for your interest in our Community Cleanup! 🌿

Keep Riverside Clean & Beautiful (KRCB), in collaboration with Riverside County 1st District Supervisor Jose Medina's Office, invites you to join us for a community cleanup event in Highgrove and University City. Together, we’ll work to beautify these neighborhoods and help instill a strong sense of community pride. Your time and effort truly make a difference!

🗓 Cleanup Dates & Staging Locations:
📍 Saturday, September 26, 2026 – Highgrove & University City Cleanup
⏰ Event Time: 7:30 AM – 11:00 AM
📌 Staging Locations:
  • Norton Younglove Community Center (459 Center St, Riverside, CA 92507)
  • Sycamore Highlands Park (5777 Fair Isle Dr, Riverside, CA 92507).  MUST have access to transportation (either by personal vehicle or with a driver).

What to Expect:
Volunteers will assist with litter removal, light landscaping, and other beautification activities to improve the appearance of community spaces. All cleanup supplies will be provided.

Volunteer Sign-Up:
Please select the date you would like to volunteer for in this form. Volunteers may sign up for one or both cleanup days.

Check-In Instructions:
When you arrive, please turn in your signed Volunteer’s Agreement to Release All Liability form. If you haven’t completed one yet, you can fill it out on site. Then, check in with a KRCB staff member who will provide your team assignment and cleanup site. You’ll be grouped with a team to help make the event run smoothly!  

What to Wear & Bring:
✔ Comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
✔ Closed-toe shoes
✔ Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses)
✔ A reusable water bottle
✔ A positive attitude! 😄

 Do you have a working vehicle and can drive to assigned cleanup sites? 
Some cleanup sites are not within walking distance. This helps us plan our site assignments.

Are You Interested In Being a Team Leader for this Project?
Team Leaders must be 18+ years old and are responsible for makeing sure their group is safe by following the project instructions, placing trash bags in correct locations, and returning all tools to the KRCB staging location once done. KRCB staff appreciates your leadership. Thank you!

Volunteer’s Agreement to Release All Liability
All volunteers must complete a Volunteer’s Agreement to Release All Liability form. You may fill it out ahead of time and bring a printed copy with you on the day of the event.

Important: Volunteers under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian complete and sign the form before the event.

Individuals under the age of 18 without a completed and signed form will not be allowed to participate in the project.

Let us know if you have any questions, concerns, or accommodations we should be aware of.
This can include health-related needs, accessibility considerations, or anything important for us to know about you or your group.

For example: ages of children under 18, medical conditions, or if anyone requires assistance during the event.
