HOT Dog Park is the largest and best off-leash dog park within a 40-mile radius of Waco. It is a volunteer-run, user-funded park on private property - it is not a city park and we get no government support or assistance. The park needs everyone who uses it and everyone who cares about Waco's dogs to pitch in and make it safe, clean, fun, and open for the community.
Click here to donate through our GoFundMe page, and please complete the form below to help in other ways as well. You may also donate through PayPal (@hotdogpark), Venmo (@hotdogpark), and CashApp ($hotdogpark). Donations are not tax-deductible at this time.
We estimate that 200-300 people per month bring their dogs to the HOT Dog Park, often multiple times per month. Many users of the park live in apartments or don't have access to fenced areas where their dogs can run and play. Some other park users are physically unable to walk their dogs because of their health or age.
Exercise and social time are important to dogs' physical and emotional well-being. Healthy, stimulated dogs are less likely to have behavior problems and are therefore less likely to be surrendered or abused. The dog park is valuable for the humans, too, who get time to relax outside in a beautiful area and in community with other dog families. Visitors to Waco and tourists also frequent the park — in fact, some have said they chose to visit Waco because of the park.
The dogs thank you for all of your support!
