Neighborhood Roots is the non-profit that operates Fulton, Kingfield, and Nokomis Farmers Markets in South Minneapolis.
Our mission is to bring neighbors together to buy, eat and learn about local food. We support local farmers and small businesses, promote vibrant community, and affect important changes in food and agriculture policy.

** The Neighborhood Roots Farmers Markets are producer's markets, meaning vendors may only sell products they themselves have produced. Franchise products are not eligible.

Dates and Timelines
Applications are due by February 10, 2020
Vendors will be notified of acceptance and schedule by March 9, 2020
Vendors MUST accept and confirm their schedule by March 23, 2020
Invoices will be emailed by March 31, 2020
** If you are a new vendor with edible products or an art vendor without any online images, you may be contacted and asked to provide a sample of your product for our vendor selection meeting in mid-February.
Operations, Licensing, and Insurance
All vendors must read and agree to the Rules and Regulations before submitting an application to the Neighborhood Roots Farmers Markets. Vendors interested in learning more about how vendors are selected can read the Notes on Vendor Selection.

All applicants must submit a $25 nonrefundable application fee, to be paid online after submitting this form. Only one $25 fee is due even if you apply to multiple Neighborhood Roots markets.
**YOUR APPLICATION IS NOT CONSIDERED RECEIVED UNTIL APPLICATION FEE IS PAID.

If you are accepted to any of the Neighborhood Roots Farmers Markets, you will be required to have the following insurance and licenses based on the products you sell. License and insurance certificates can be emailed to info@neighborhoodrootsmn.org by April 30, 2020.

Minimum coverage amounts are $1,000,000 occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate.

Sundays, 8:30-1pm, May 17th- October 25th, 2020 (24 weeks)

Nokomis Farmers Market: 5167 Chicago Ave S Minneapolis, MN. 55417
Wednesdays, 4-8pm (4-7:30pm in September), June 17th- September 30th, 2020 (16 weeks)
2020 Stall Fees and Stall Sizes
Fulton: 10x10 or 10x20 available
Fees: $30 per week for non-agricultural producers.
$25 per week for agricultural producers.
$500 for full-season vendors

Kingfield: 10x10 available
Fees: $35 per week for non-agricultural producers.
$30 per week for agricultural producers.
$600 for full-season vendors

Nokomis: 10x10 or 10x20 available
Fees: $30 per week for non-agricultural producers.
$25 per week for agricultural producers.
$360 for full-season vendors

Electricity Fees: $5 per outlet per week

Billing Options: All fees paid in full by April 30, 2020 OR
Half of fees due April 30, 2020, the other half due June 30, 2020
