Bring clothes that fixin' and flare, we'll help you love what you wear!
Eco Fashion, Vintage Threads, and the Workshop VCU present to you the Fashion Revolution Mending Workshop on Wednesday April 24 from 3-6pm at Cabell Library. Bring clothes that need love, learn how to mend and upcycle, and raise awareness for slow fashion!

Fashion Revolution is a non-profit organization that was founded in the wake of the Rana Plaza collapse on April 24, 2013. On this day, over 1000 garment workers lost their lives in a clothing factory that had unregulated safety hazards. The collapse sparked sharp focus the need for labor rights to be respected and for greater social dialogue between the Government, employers and trade unions.

By making an effort to slow down fashion on an individual level, we can foster awareness and inspire tangible change within the fashion industry, ultimately steering it towards a more sustainable and ethical future.
