UMBC Hillel Resetting The Table, Fall 2021
In partnership with The Associated's Insight Israel Forum and Resetting the Table, we are offering a 3 part mini series for UMBC students this fall semester. Participants will be trained in constructive communication skills and together explore the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through a dual narratives approach. The program is open to people of all backgrounds, experiences, and knowledge levels.

This experience will provide participants with the following:
-A toolkit of skills to enter into difficult conversations with others
-First hand experience of engaging in meaningful conversations over difficult topics within a group of peers who hold diverse opinions and beliefs
-Exploration of Israeli and Palestinian educational content from a dual narrative approach in an attempt to understand the context of the conflict from multiple perspectives

The meetings will take place 5 PM on Thursdays 9/23, 9/30, and 10/7, lasting between 1.5–2 hours. Start time is flexible and subject to shift based on group consensus. We will be meeting virtually. Students will receive a free meal each time they participate—either by meeting with Danielle at announced times or a grubuhub gift card.
