The audition will take place in the Dance Program studios on the SJSU campus. Please come to Washington Square Hall / Room 104 by 8:30am to begin the registration process. The audition classes will be led by SJSU dance faculty and will include elements of a Ballet, Contemporary and Jazz class over two hours (40 mins each). Students will be observed by a panel of 2–3 faculty during the audition class.

 BFA candidates will be asked to present a 1-2 solo. The faculty will conduct a short interview following the solo audition The audition will begin as close to 9am as possible once registration is complete; the schedule will be adhered to as much as possible.  Please plan to be done by 12pm if you are audoitioning for the BA and 2pm if you are sharing a solo for the BFA audition.
