SHS Career Corner Speakers
All South High School all shareholders have expressed an interest in having more career speakers to help expose students to a wider variety of future careers.

We are hoping to build a repository of career speakers (individual or teams), who will be willing to come to Spartan Seminars and share their experiences with interested students.  As an example, Ralph's Grocery might send a cashier, a butcher, and a manager for the visit.

Visits can be virtual or in-person - (although in-person is always more effective if possible).

Please fill this out if:
  1. you are willing to come share your career journey with SHS students
  2. you know someone (or a company) who would be willing to do so
We plan to do this every week on Wednesdays and Thursdays during Spartan Seminar from 11:30-12:00 am.  A teacher will be in the room hosting you to help with any issues, tech or otherwise. Students choose to attend, and will be an interested and willing audience.

Our ultimate goal is to have a Career Corner every week that students can sign up for during Spartan Seminar. We know that is ambitious, but with the help of the community we believe we can get there.

So please, think about what you do, and the people you know, and help us to reach kids in a powerful way if you have the time.  Please feel free to share this QR code with anyone who might be interested.

If you want to reach out directly, please contact our College and Career Counselor, Salma-Nadine Sanchez, at sanchez.salma-nadine@tusd.org. or call 310.533.4352 and ask for her.
