Call 2 - Bangalore Section Student Innovative Project (BS-SIP) Fund 2018
Preamble
Projects are part of curriculum in all the universities/colleges in undergraduate programs. IEEE Bangalore Section is setting up a fund to provide up to Rs. 15,000/- to assist undergraduate student teams A certificate of merit will be provided by the Bangalore Section to all students and faculty mentor in one of the flagship events of the section.

Objective

Motivate undergraduate and postgraduate students to find innovative solutions to real-world problems

Eligibility

• A team of two to four students pursuing undergraduate/post graduate degree from the college having active IEEE student branch of Bangalore section. (B.E, B.Tech, M.E, M.Tech, MCA, MBA, MSc who are IEEE members)
• Team should have at least one female student.
• All the team members including faculty mentor should be IEEE members of Bangalore Section
• A student may be part of only one proposal/team.
• The proposal must include a budget. Accepted proposals will be funded up to Rs 15,000/- by IEEE Bangalore Section.
• The previous submitted proposals are also eligible to apply.
• This funding may be used for purchasing components and other consumables, but not for travel.

Review Process

The proposals will be reviewed by the committee consisting of three Senior Members of IEEE who are from Industry and academia. The recommendation of the committee will be put across to Bangalore Section Executive Committee for approval. The selection will be done on the basis of Novelty of the project, Social/community relevance, proposed solution and practicality of implementation.
