Hands-on workshop for journalists by Google News Lab media training specialist Beata Biel.

The workshop will cover step by step how journalists can make use of MyMaps, Fusion Tables and other geo tools such as Google Earth in their work.

Beata Biel is a media training specialist representing Google News Lab in Central and Eastern Europe. Before that she worked for 15 years as a TV journalist, editor and documentary filmmaker. Polish Grand Press Prize winner of 2008 in the category: best TV report. A 2011 Transatlantic Media Fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington DC.
