The Council of Lutheran Churches is organising a pilgrimage to Taizé for young adults from our member churches and those connected with our ministries (aged under 35). We warmly invite you to join us for a week of prayer, worship, fellowship, and community life in Taizé from 19–26 July 2026.
Travel
There will be two departure points:
Cost and Payment
The total cost of the trip is £400 per person, which includes:
A £50 deposit is required to secure your place. Once you have completed the registration form, we will contact you with payment details.
If you are unable to afford the full cost, please select the “Apply for Bursary” option in the form. We are committed to ensuring that finances are not a barrier, and we will be in touch to discuss support.
Practical Information
If you require a Schengen visa, please begin the application process as soon as possible. If the cost of a visa is a difficulty, please contact us so we can explore support options.
Please ensure your passport is valid and meets current EU entry requirements for our travel dates.
Please bring some Euros, as food during travel days (to and from Taizé) is not included, and there are shops in Taizé that support the community’s life and ministry.
Priority of Places
If the trip becomes oversubscribed, priority will be given to participants from CLC member churches and to students, both for places and for bursary support.
Personal Data Declaration
By completing the registration form, you consent to the Council of Lutheran Churches collecting and using your personal data solely for the purpose of organising and safely administering this pilgrimage (including travel arrangements, accommodation, safeguarding, emergency contact information, and bursary applications). Your information will be stored securely, accessed only by authorised organisers, and will not be shared with third parties except where necessary for travel or safeguarding purposes. Data will be retained only for as long as required for the trip and any necessary follow-up, and then securely deleted.

We look forward to journeying together in faith, fellowship, and prayer. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
