Story Sharing for SJS Community Members
The depth and urgency of this problem become clearest when you hear directly from people who experienced White supremacy within the SJS community. We have created an Instagram account called @storiesfromthecloisters as a space to share these stories. We are not just collecting anecdotes from Black students and alumni, but anyone who directly encountered racism, observed it in the hallways, read it online, or learned it in the classroom. Everyone's identities will be kept anonymous, but in the submission form, we have asked for some background information to have high-level data on our respondent pool, should it be required in the future. All fields are optional - you are not required to share any more than you want to!

If you want to tell your story, but would rather send it privately to the administration, just a reminder that you can use the email address communityandinclusion@sjs.org
