Una Voz es un programa dirigido por miembros de la comunidad Latinx diseñado para celebrar la historia, la cultura y las contribuciones de la comunidad Latinx en la región de Mt. Hood.

Creemos que alzar las voces latinas eleva a toda la comunidad montañesa, y unir todas nuestras voces fortalece a la comunidad y reconoce las increíbles contribuciones realizadas por los miembros latinx de la región.

Una Voz anima a los estudiantes a usar su voz para contar sus historias y las historias de su familia y comunidad a través de la expresión creativa. En nuestra comunidad principalmente no latina, tener un espacio para compartir este tipo de historias es fundamental para la conciencia cultural, la autoestima y la construcción de comunidad.

Activities will occur at varying times and locations on September 16, September 30, October 15, October 29, November 5, November 9, November 26, and December 16.

Can your student attend most of these dates?

All activities require transportation and additional chaperones. We ask the parents to drive their student and other participating students to at least one activity (see below for required waiver). 

For non-local events/activities, Mt. Hood Unida will reimburse you for gas and mileage. For all events, if you choose to attend the event/activity, Mt. Hood Unida will pay for your admission and parking.

Hood Unida program coordinators and/or to parents of participating students to drive my student in their personal vehicle to and from the event/activity on the assigned date and time. I understand that driver information will be provided to me at least 1 day before the event/activity.
