Raisin’ Roots Farm 2021 CSA Registration

*New* For the 2021 season we will be shifting to our CSA model from a traditional box to a free-choice CSA program. This means that you will be able to select your own produce each week from what we have available - in any amount and whichever crops and varieties are your favorite. If you miss a week, or are out of town, you can use your remaining credit on any week and pick up where you left off. The 2021 CSA runs from May - October. We will notify you in April of the beginning of our May markets and pickup dates.

You may pick up your produce at either of our weekly markets: Fridays at the farm 3:00pm - 6:00pm or Saturdays 9:00am - 1:00pm at the Larimer County Farmers Market. You may come to either market on any given week and we will have produce for you. We recommend coming to our Friday markets to get the first pick of the harvest and see the farm, but we will still have plenty of produce available for Saturday market if that is where you prefer to pick up.

We will be using a CSA member card, you can think of it as your farm debit card. Once you have purchased a CSA Share with us and paid in full, we will give you your CSA member card at your first pickup.

With this model you will still receive a discount on our produce, in the form of an additional 10% on your CSA member card. For example, the CSA share costs $500 and you will receive $550 to spend with us during the season. If you would like to have more to spend with us throughout the season you can choose to pay more up front than the standard $500, or reload your card at any time, and receive the same 10% in addition.

A non-refundable $200 deposit will reserve your 2021 share. We ask for the full CSA Share payment by April 1st of 2021. You are welcome to pay in full prior to that date, as we have plenty of seeds to order and work to do before Spring arrives :) Check in the mail is most convenient for us. We will confirm with you when we receive any payment! Please contact us if you would like to arrange a different payment plan.

We accept SNAP/EBT benefits and have grant funding through the Double Up Food Bucks program to match each of your payments to achieve the other 50% of the share cost. Members paying with this method can pay in increments of your choosing throughout the season, and we do not need payment in full until later in the season depending on what payment plan works for you. The minimum deposit required for a EBT/SNAP customer is $50 on your EBT card, which we will match with Double Up Bucks to achieve a $100 deposit.

If you enjoyed our traditional CSA model of years past, we will still be offering seasonal farm boxes periodically throughout the season. You can use your CSA member card to purchase a seasonal farm box, if you like the contents of the box on any given week.

The weekly pickup options May - October:

At the Farm: Fridays 3pm – 6pm at 2229 West Vine Drive, just west of the roundabout at Taft Hill & Vine

Larimer County Farmers Market in Old Town: Saturday 9am - 1pm located at Mountain & Howes in Old Town, Fort Collins.

On any given week you can come to either pickup location, both pickup locations, or take a week off. It's your choice! You will not lose any CSA member card credit by skipping a week.
