Meat Order Form
The Farmstead provides the majority of the meat for the students at Wears Valley Ranch and now we are able to offer some of what we're growing to you! By selling our products we are able to offset our costs and reinvest proceeds to grow even more healthy food for the Ranch, and for you. All products are available in limited quantities and on a first come first served basis, we will update this form often to reflect availability.

Our chickens are raised on pasture, moved daily to fresh grass, and supplemented with GMO-free feed.
Whole Chickens are in stock! Order now and we'll email you a pick up date!
We now have limited stock available for cut chicken! Cut chicken is frozen, and vacuum packed. Payment is due at pick up.
Whole Muscovy Duck. Pasture raised, supplemented with non-GMO grain. Frozen & Vacuum packed.
Our egg layers are moved from pasture to pasture behind our cows and sheep, they love browsing for insects, seeds, and greens, preferring those over the GMO free feed that we supplement them with.
To sign up for our egg CSA, click below to indicate how many dozen eggs you'd like per week and which day you will pick them up on. Pick up is at Wears Valley Ranch. You can also purchase our eggs through Farms to Families, a delivery service in the Knoxville area, check out Farms to Families here: https://tinyurl.com/jyhvgcn
Our pigs are raised in hardwood forests, eating all of the acorns, hickory nuts, and vegetation they can find. We reseed the areas that they root up with greens and vegetables so that their paddocks are always full of treats. We supplement our pigs with GMO-free feed.
We are no longer raising pigs, we have a small amount of stock left in our freezer, but once it's gone, it's all gone.
Our sheep are moved frequently on lush pastures, and always have access to fresh water and essential minerals. We like to call our sheep "salad bar" raised, a term coined by Joel Salatin, because they aren't just eating grass, they're eating legumes, brassicas, forbs, and grazing herbs. We very rarely give any grain, and if we do it is only a handful to get loose animals back into the fence! If you have more questions about how we raise our sheep, feel free to contact the Farmer below!
