Machynlleth Comedy Festival 2020 Technician Application Form
We're always looking for amazing people to join the wonderful volunteer team that make Machynlleth Comedy Festival happen. If you'd like to do something amazing please complete the below to apply.
Please note, even if you have volunteered/worked for us in the past you are required to fill out the below form (it makes things so much easier for us to have all your up to date info on one sheet). We have technical roles available that require different levels of skills and experience but we're also looking for people that are excited about helping to make something incredible happen. We want technical staff who are pro-active, who can think on their feet, and are used to working in close partnerships with artists in intense environments to deliver the best shows possible.
Your application will be processed on receipt and we will contact you as soon as we can. If you don't get an immediate response, don't worry, we will contact you.
There are a limited number of technical positions available and once positions are filled we will close the application process.
We have a number of senior technical roles for experienced technicians which come with a payment, but we also have volunteer roles for those looking to gain valuable experience in a supported role at a live event.
You will receive a crew wristband which entitles them to a camping pitch on our campsite, crew breakfast from Friday to Monday, and, when you're off-duty, free entry to any shows with spare capacity. Please note that the paid positions have a requirement to work the weekend, whereas the volunteer positions will be in shift patterns of 3-5 hours.
