Animal Friends Alliance Public Event Request 
Filling out this form indicates your interest in having Animal Friends Alliance at your event. Filling out this form is NOT a guarantee that we will be able to do your event. We require notice at least 6 weeks in advance of your event, as it takes many resources and team members to prepare for offsite events.

Please read through all the EVENTS GUIDELINES before making a request.

Due to our limited capacity, we do prioritize events that are well marketed, and provide a fundraising component for the Alliance.

Please remember that we are working with animals that are living beings, and it can be hard to predict if any issues or medical concerns will arise. We will not send sick or under socialized animals to events. Shelter animals may have varying levels of confidence and will do best in safe and comfortable environments- our goal is to keep our animals and the patrons of your event healthy and safe! 

You will be contacted  by a staff member after this form is completed. If your event is not for several months, we may not be able to confirm participation until 6 weeks before.

Consider noise level, space, temperature, proximity to the street, types of other vendors, etc.  We are working with shelter animals who have varying levels of confidence, they will do best in a controlled environment (for example not close to things such as bounce houses, playgrounds, live music)

This can be estimated, it helps us determine how many animals are appropriate for the event.

Are you requesting animals at the event? *
We cannot guarantee a specific number of animals. Animals are living beings and it can be hard to predict if any medical concerns will arise. We will not send sick or undersocialized animals to events, so the number of animals can change. We are working with shelter animals who have varying levels of confidence, they will do best in a controlled environment.

Keep in mind we often have lots of supplies, and if we have live animals we want somewhere close and out of traffic to unload them. Provide pictures if possible.

Most successful events provide marketing to their audience at least 1 month in advance. 
Print includes posters, fliers, table tents, newspaper ads etc., 
Digital includes Facebook Events, social media posts, website banners, email to your customers, etc.
If we feel an event may be poorly attended due to marketing, we may reevaluate our participation as it takes a lot of organizational capacity to prepare animals for events.
