With the intention of understanding the Refugee Journey from an experiential learning experience, this is an interactive workshop personalized for your group with:
- Your facility
- Your time frame (from 30 min-3 hours)
- Your audience (all ages, groups & sizes)
- Optional: Choice of service project with Gathering Humanity

The workshop includes simulations that can be done from your chair and/or in active participation, but depends on your group age, available leaders and facility. There is a Power Point presentation, which requires a projector with table, large screen display, audio, & power. Extra simulations can include food, tarps, mock camp and group movement depending on your scope and resources. After registration, we will contact you to discuss and provide further details, to make sure the workshop is tailored specifically for your group.

We hope your soul is moved to greater understanding and compassion for refugees after this workshop, so we may become Of One Heart.

Optional Service Projects with Gathering Humanity: If you would like to do a service project, we will email list of possible options that might fit your time frame and group. Then you simply pick a service project, organize, facilitate, and deliver to Gathering Humanity's warehouse. This can be done with The Refugee Journey workshop, or afterwards on a different day. *

Donation drive: gather from list of household items to assemble kits to help furnish apartments for newly arriving refugees

Sew hijabs to donate to Muslim refugee women so they feel comfortable in their worship

Kits: gather & assemble kits to provide necessities & ease the financial burdens on refugee families
