The 2nd annual SRCUACS Symposium will be taking place
April 7 & 8, 2026 at
North Carolina State University and
North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC. This year, we'll be highlighting UACS work being done in North Carolina with some invited perspectives from other practitioners in the Southeast. Like last year, registration for this event is free.
We kindly ask that you RSVP before February 27th so that we can prepare the best experience for our participants.
The rough structure of the symposium is as follows:
Day 1 (April 7th) - McKimmon Center, North Carolina State University
12pm - 1pm: Lunch (provided)
1pm - 2pm: Plenary session
2pm - 5pm: Breakout sessions (1 hour each)
Day 2 (April 8th) - School of Education, North Carolina Central University
8am - 9am: Breakfast (provided)
9am - 9:30am: Plenary session
9:30am - 10:30am: Student presentation breakouts
10:30am - 11am: Break
11am - 12pm: Student presentation breakouts
12pm - 1pm: Lunch (provided)
1pm - 3pm: School visits in Durham and Orange Counties
