a. Adolescent and youth sexual and reproductive rights with a special focus on gender and sexual marginalisation.
b. Landscape of laws, policies and programmes that impact adolescents’ and young people’s Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (AYSRHR).
c. How to advocate for AYSRHR at the local, national and international levels, including knowledge of international level (policy) accountability mechanisms in their work on AYSRHR issues from both developmental and rights based frameworks.
The training will serve as a precursor to a youth-led national level consultation titled, YOUth INsight: Informing Policies on Health, Gender and Well-being that will be held in New Delhi on 29th and 30th August 2018. Participants attending the training will be part of the subsequent two-day consultation as well.
Participants' travel expenses (3rd AC train fare) will be reimbursed and accommodation and food will be provided by The YP Foundation for the duration of the training and the event.
In order to build this multi-stakeholder engagement on Adolescent and Youth SRHR (AYSRHR), we would like to invite applications from young people from diverse backgrounds who:
a. Are between 18 to 29 years (as on 01/01/2018).b. Have at least 2 years’ experience of working in youth advocacy and/or sexual and reproductive health and rights.
