This group aims to offer a nurturing, inclusive, and understanding environment for participants to navigate their new-newish diagnosis together. It's a chance for you to explore this resource and see if it aligns with your journey towards understanding and managing your ADHD.

Our experienced therapists are committed to guiding and supporting you on this new path. Let's explore this together, turning the challenges of a recent ADHD diagnosis into opportunities for growth, understanding, and community support.

  1. Understanding the Diagnosis: Discussing what an ADHD diagnosis means, understanding the symptoms specific to women, and addressing common myths and misconceptions around ADHD.

  2. Coping Strategies and Tools: Sharing and learning various coping mechanisms, tools, and strategies that can help manage ADHD symptoms in day-to-day life, including organization and time management skills.

  3. Emotional Well-being: Discussing the emotional impact of ADHD, such as feelings of overwhelm, anxiety, depression, or low self-esteem, and exploring ways to support emotional health and resilience.

  4. Relationships and Communication: Exploring the impact of ADHD on personal and professional relationships, and learning effective communication strategies to manage these dynamics.

  5. Navigating Healthcare and Support Systems: Understanding how to effectively advocate for oneself within healthcare systems, discussing medication and other treatment options, and exploring the availability of support systems such as therapists, coaches, and support groups.
