In December 2017, the USTARS community lost a vital part of the organizing committee. Kathy McElroy was the executive assistant for the Florida Gulf Coast University Mathematics Department and helped with USTARS administration from 2015-2017.

We have created the Kathy McElroy USTARS Collaboration Grant to honor Kathy. The grant can be used to support travel to a collaborator. We can support up to $500. Travel must be by July 20, 2019
