Data CTRL Centre. Youth Hackathon
International Online Youth Hackathon for youngsters is a part of the project "Data CTRL Centre" initiated by Goethe-Institut Ukraine and curated by Junge Tüftler (Germany) and 1991 Open Data Incubator (Ukraine). The main aim of the event is to gather together teens from the Eastern Partnership region to elaborate on new ideas and extraordinary solutions in the field of Data Security, Data Privacy, and Misinformation. The best projects implemented during the Hackathon will be integrated into the Exhibition and presented to the wider audience in autumn.

Who can apply for the program and how can I apply?
- You are 16-18 years old.
- You are a person who wants to upgrade your IT-skills.
- You are a person who wants to create your own project.
- You have good English communication skills.
- You have a laptop with a camera/mic function and a very good internet connection.
Youngsters from all parts of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, and Germany can apply for the program, as we also wish to reach the areas besides the buzzing tech-headquarters of each country. We strongly encourage female* youngsters to apply. Whether you are still at school or just entered the university, whether you are a pro at coding or a beginner, you are welcome to apply.
