Join the Conversation: Open Mapping for Climate Health Research
Our team of open mapping specialists is looking to engage with professionals working across all levels of the health and climate fields. This includes, but is not limited to, climate/disaster risk experts, public health practitioners, researchers using geospatial/open data in health, and organisations focused on community resilience.

Through these discussions, we aim to better understand current practices, challenges, and opportunities related to the use of data across four climate health domains:
  • Extreme weather and heat
  • Climate-sensitive diseases
  • Health system resilience
  • Vulnerability and equity
During the conversation, you will be invited to share examples from your work, reflect on barriers and enablers you encounter, and suggest ways in which open mapping and open data could more effectively support climate sensitive health planning and decision-making. Interviews will be semi-structured, lasting approximately 45–60 minutes, and can be conducted online at a time convenient for you.
