In the Sacrament of Confirmation, a person is baptized for the second, and last time. This second baptism confirms they are welcome in the Church and makes it possible for them to go to heaven.

In the Sacrament of Confirmation, we are anointed with oil. It marks the passing from the childhood of our faith into adulthood. It unites us more firmly with Christ as members of His Body called to Mission. We become obligated to serve others.
