UIC Contract Action Team Commitment Form 2023

The Contract Action Team (CAT) is the member-to-member communication structure for communicating bargaining updates and actions to union members at UIC. To win the contract that UIC workers deserve, every worker in every building and every department needs to have a point person. Remember, a union is only as strong as the members. The more organized and united you and your coworkers are, the stronger you will be at the bargaining table.

By signing my name below, I commit to talking to coworkers in my work area or job title about the contract campaign, and how they can help support it. I will regularly participate in conference calls with the bargaining committee and/or union organizers to get updates and help make decisions about how to build the power necessary to win.

I also give my consent to SEIU Local 73 (collectively, the "Union") to use and publish the information I have provided. I give the Union my permission to use and publish my name, photograph, video, and/or any statements I have made to the Union, in addition, I grant permission for the Union to copyright this material, and I release the Union from any liability arising from any blurring, alteration, optical illusion, or composition of my photo or video.
