Sign up here for Extracurricular Activities (Clubs / Classes) from the week of September 25, 2023 until mid-January 2023.

Each student club/class will be ¥22000 (including 10% consumption tax) for weekly sessions throughout the first term.
(The exact number of club sessions will vary due to national holidays and school events.)
For those who sign up for any of the three cooking classes that are being offered an additional ¥1500 will be added to cover the cost of ingredients.

All after school clubs/classes will start at 3:30pm and end at 4:35.
Please send a small healthy snack, students will have 10 minutes to eat before the session starts.

There is a late room offered after clubs until 5pm. We also have our early arrivals room from 7:50am - 8:30am if needed. For an additional 1100yen per session/per day.

**One child/ participant can sign up for multiple clubs through the same application**

Puzzle Club

Early Years & Preschool

Solving puzzles helps children develop finger strength, perseverance and problem-solving skills.


Baking & Cooking

PS - G6

Mr. Lubin

Learn the basics of baking and cooking and enjoy eating afterwards!


Basketball

Grades 1 - 6

Develop skills in dribbling, passing and shooting as well as teamwork.


School Choir

Art Club EY & PS

The Art club promotes creativity and imagination. The students will have fun learning new things and making beautiful artworks.



Kung Fu Advanced & Super Advanced

PS - Grade 6

Mr  Hartmann

For students who know the Tiger Kata (Advanced) and those who know the Tiger and the Monkey (Super Advanced). They will continue to build on skills that they learnt last year and will continue to learn the Monkey and the Snake. They will have a lot of fun during the lessons as they become stronger, more flexible and confident as they exercise, learn kung fu techniques, light acrobatics and a little bit of self- defence.  



Athletics

Grades 1 - 6

Students will develop their athletic skills in running, jumping and throwing as well as their strength, flexibility and confidence through fun and playful scenarios.



Kids Kitchen

Preschool - Grade 6

Ms. Ayumi Matsuo

Learn how to cook and taste some homemade Japanese foods.

Kung Fu Beginners (and those who have forgotten the Tiger)

Learn Kung Fu from a real Kung Fu master! Students will have a lot of fun during the lessons as they become stronger, more flexible and confident as they exercise, learn kung fu techniques, proper posture and some light acrobatics.


Minecraft Club IS FULL and no longer accepting participants.

Grades 1 - 6

Let’s play Minecraft! We will build and explore a fantastic world together that we can design with our own creativity! 

**Students will need to have their own Minecraft JAVA Edition Account. The school can help with the purchase.**

German Language Lesson UP (non-native and native)

Grade 3-6

Learn German through fun activities with native and non-native students and focus on communication and individual learning based on skill level.

We do yoga and some movement fun for kids. They can enjoy the physical, mental and emotional benefits early.


Makerspace

Preschool - Grade 2

The Makers will use Science,Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM) to make cool and fun projects.


Inline Skating

Preschool - Grade 6

Mr. Brabant

Develop inline skating skills and confidence together. All levels welcome!

Students must bring their own skates and safety equipment.


German Language (non-native and native)

Preschool - Grade 2

We will learn about German language and culture focused on the interests of the students.


Science Club UP

A hands-on science club where children have the opportunity to learn more about science through a range of fun (and possibly messy) experiments. 


The Sports Club

PS - Grade 6

Join our Sports Club, with a wide variety of sport activities to stay healthy and have some fun with Mr.Huber as coach. 


Keyboarding Club

Grades 3 - 6

Ms Azusa

Learn how to play your favourite songs. But first you need to know how to play the keyboard. It won’t be too difficult, because all of you can already read music notes quite well. Beginners are welcome. At the end of the term, we can play a small piece of music together!
