Women’s Winter Walks Information

Open Doors for Refugees, a non-profit group that helps refugees feel welcome in Madison, seeks female volunteers to walk once a week with an amazing newcomer woman (and possibly her kids) for three consecutive months: January, February, and March 2021.

There are many benefits:
1) Make new friends; your walking partner and possibly all of her family
2) Get out of the house regularly in winter
3) Create a weekly schedule convenient for both of you
3) Help your walking partner practice English
4) Learn about her home, her culture and teach her yours
5) Learn and share new walking routes in Madison neighborhoods and parks

**Please note that there may be more volunteers than walking partners; we will do our best to pair you with a partner but this form is not a guarantee.
