The AfSU Umbrella: Welcome
Welcome to our second Afghan Student Union (AfSU) Umbrella scheme Welcome Event!

The AfSU Umbrella is a scheme that allows for university societies to be part of AfSU and the change we hope to inspire by allowing your university’s Afghan students to access AfSU resources and networks. You can find out more about the AfSU Umbrella by visiting our website here.  Please fill out this very quick Google form to confirm your attendance to the event.

Event Agenda
This will be a largely informal meet and greet event, you will first run through a small 3-5 minute presentation by AfSU's ED before then informally networking with the Presidents and committee members of AfSocs from 9 UK-based universities and the wider AfSU team.

This is an opportunity for you to get to know AfSU more, join the team, discuss your ideas for events, and collaborate with your wider Afghan diaspora at a leadership level.

Event Details
The event will be from 5pm-7pm at King's College London, Bush House Campus (South East Wing). You can view this on AccessAble here to help you in case you get lost.
It falls on the Thursday, 14th September 2023.
The room for this is Bush House (SE Wing) Room 1.08. This is on the 1st floor.

We encourage guests to follow us on social media (@afgstudentunion on Instagram) for updates. We will start the event promptly.

By attending you agree to abide by AfSU public event policies. AfSU staff wear white visible lanyards and so you should follow instruction provided by them if told to do so.

You MUST register to attend. If you attend without registering you will not be permitted entry. You MUST bring valid university identification (for students and alumni). If you do not possess this you will not be permitted entry. Our security protocols are strict.
