Cultivate a community of shared responsibility and growth.

VISION : to be a model of humanity for the world.

MISSION : to amplify and center the experiences of African voices within education using the power of storytelling while building community through Ubuntu.

RATIONALE:In a world increasingly driven by capitalist ideals, the systematic departure from our humanity poses profound challenges, particularly within the realm of education. By integrating the theme of capitalism into our conference, we invite participants to critically examine how profit-driven motives often overshadow the rich tapestry of African experiences and narratives. This theme serves as a catalyst for dynamic discussions on the impact of economic structures that marginalize voices and perpetuate inequality. Through the lens of Ubuntu, we can explore how storytelling not only amplifies these voices but also fosters a sense of community and shared purpose. By confronting the tensions between capitalism and our collective humanity, we empower participants to envision transformative educational practices that prioritize equity, compassion, and interconnectedness, ultimately reshaping the future of learning for African communities.
