Join us on December 7-9 at the Yolo County Office of Education at Santa Anita Ct, Woodland, CA 95776 to learn about the Criminal Justice System! At this event you will have the opportunity learn about the different fields in the criminal justice system, and learn the importance of community involvement. Over the course of three days you will hear from, and participate in discussions with leaders in local government, non-profit organizations, law enforcement, members of the judicial system, and victims of crime. This is open to all high school students in Yolo County. You will also learn about volunteer opportunities and receive community service hours for school credit.
Food will be provided for the 3 day academy and we will also be raffling off prizes! The schedule for the academy is as follows: Friday, December 7th from 4:30-8:30 pm; Saturday, December 8th from 8:30 am-5 pm, and Sunday December 9th from 9:30-2:30 pm. You MUST be attend ALL DAYS of the academy in order to receive your certificate of completion and community service hours. This event is being sponsored by the Yolo County District Attorney's Office Multi-Cultural Community Council, in collaboration with the Yolo County Office of Education. We can't wait to see you!
