PEF Spotlight Award Nominations
Thank you for your 2020 Portage Education Foundation (PEF) Spotlight Award Nomination. The Spotlight Award is given to 3 outstanding individuals who have retired from Portage Public Schools (PPS). The individuals nominated will be reviewed and then selected by the Portage Education Foundation Board.

As part of the nomination process, we ask that you submit a 300-500 word narrative that includes a personal anecdote telling why this person has been nominated and why they meet the Spotlight Award criteria:

-Must be retired from Portage Public Schools.
-Must have been employed by PPS for a minimum of 10 years.
-Demonstrated enthusiasm for the teaching and learning process.
-Brought something unique to PPS.
-Shows a distinguished record of applying a variety of shared professional expertise and creativity.
-Has had a positive impact on both students and other teachers/professionals.
-Demonstrated high standards and a commitment to learner-centered education.
