Volunteer with Mariama James for Assembly

Mariama is building a grassroots campaign for NYS Assembly in District 65, and we’d love to have you join us out in the community. From petitioning and door knocking to phone banking, hosting events, or putting up a window sign—there’s a role for everyone to get involved. Volunteers are the heart of this campaign. 

Come connect with your neighbors and help spread the word about Mariama’s vision for our community. Every conversation brings us closer to getting Mariama to the Assembly. 

All volunteer activities will take place at meetup locations across District 65—from Chinatown and Lower Manhattan to Nolita, FiDi, Two Bridges, and the Lower East Side. We’ll provide a brief orientation at the start of each shift so you feel confident getting started, no matter how you choose to get involved.

After you sign up, our team will follow up with your meeting location and full details for your shift.
