ISC Education Program Registration Form
The University of Rhode Island Inner Space Center (ISC) has partnered with the Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England (GSSNE) to offer programs for girls who are interested in ocean science and exploration.

Please complete the following registration form to reserve a spot in a program(s). Note that each program needs a minimum of 15 girls to run. Once the minimum is reached, an email will be sent to registrants confirming their participation and payment options will be provided.

Do you know what the biggest animal in the world is? We do! Join the team at the cool URI Inner Space Center to investigate... whales! Find out about the different kinds of whales, what they eat, and how far they can dive. Plus, get a secret underwater look using the special equipment at the Inner Space Center.

The Unknown Ocean

Dive into ocean exploration with the Inner Space Center! This program begins with a visit to the ISC, where you can learn about the tools and technologies that scientists use to explore the deep ocean. Learn how animals, such as deep-sea anglerfish, have adapted to survive in extreme environments. You'll even get to engineer and make your own deep-sea craft!

Walk the Plank-ton!

Did you know that the ocean's smallest living things are the most important part of the marine food chain? A teaspoon of seawater can contain up to a million of these important, one-celled friends! Join the ISC team on an adventure to learn about these incredible, microscopic creatures by investigating live plankton samples and creating and testing your own plankton designs.
