Candreva Environmental Foundation Grant Application

The Candreva Environmental Foundation announces the availability of Environmental Mini-Grants for the coming school year.

Apply here for a mini-grant of up to $500. Before filling out this form, please make sure you have all of the necessary information.


The purpose of these mini-grants is to promote environmental education and the engagement of youth in environmental service. 

Individuals or organizations who work with students or teachers in Westchester, Putnam, Ulster and Dutchess counties can apply. Students or student groups under the supervision of a professional staff member may also apply.  Awards of up to $500 may be used for materials, printing costs, student and teacher travel, communication costs and other project related expenses.


In evaluating proposals, preference will be given to the following:
-environmentally oriented projects (eg educational, service oriented, conservation, etc.)
-projects which involve young people in all phases of the project
-projects that can be completed or have some tangible phase completed by May 1
-projects that hold promise of continuation at the completion of the grant
