The NET TLC Ensemble Exchange Lab (July 1-7, 2019) is an opportunity for up to nine NET-member-affiliated, ensemble-minded artists from around the country to gather for collaborative knowledge-sharing, practice-centered exchange, and creative exploration in a retreat setting.
NET members in all membership categories (ensemble, affiliate, individual, student) are encouraged to apply. **Ensemble and affiliate members may apply to send 1-4 affiliated artists, who will represent the company and share during the Lab on your behalf.**
Because of the intimate nature of the experience, we’re looking to bring together a diverse yet complementary small group of attendees to enhance one another’s personal and shared learning and discovery. Once selected, attendees will have the opportunity to co-create the design, structure, and content for some collaborative aspects of our week together, so that the Residency Lab can be tailored to individual and collective interests and needs.
To help NET curate a vibrant community dynamic and rich, cross-pollinating exchange among selected participants, your responses to the questions below will give us a sense of the work you’re making, what’s on your mind, and what you’re looking to explore and share with ensemble-focused peers.
Ensemble/Affiliate Member applicants: please use the Participant 1-4 fields below as needed to provide information on each individual who you would like to have attend.
All lodging is split between 3 shared cabins, with rooms that are shared (1 or 2 beds) or private (1 bed). Please review the different residency rates for shared and private lodging, then select all options below that you would accept.
Please note that we are requesting demographic information in order to gather a group of participants from varied backgrounds and perspectives, and ask that you select all responses that correspond to how you self-identify. However, what you share here is optional; choosing to leave this information blank will not have a negative impact on your application.
