National Poetry Recitation Competition (English) 2025

Poetry Festival Singapore (PFS) presents the second edition of the National Poetry Recitation Competition (NPRC) in 2025! This biennial competition aims to promote the appreciation of poetry in the classroom and community by encouraging everyone in Singapore to learn poems by heart. Finalists will be invited to perform their selected poems in person during the finals on 26 and 27 July 2025 at the National Library.

  • Registration (for the English category) is open online from 1 April 2025 to 2 July 2025.

  • The registration deadline is 2 July 2025 (Wednesday), 23:59hrs.
