TBRI ® is an attachment-based, trauma-informed, whole-child approach to meeting
the complex needs of children and youth who have experienced early adversity,
toxic stress, and/or relational trauma.
This training is ideal for: kinship care families, foster families, adoptive families, families
with child welfare involvement, and families or individuals serving and supporting children from hard places*to:
•Create an environment of physical, social, & psychological safety
•Build & strengthen secure attachments between caregivers & children
•Help caregivers master the use of proactive strategies for behavioral change
This training is a FOUR-DAY training and the expectation is that you will attend all four trainings as each training lays a foundation for the next:
•OVERVIEW: January 11, 2025: 11:00am-1:00pm
•CONNECTING: February 1, 2025: 10:00am-5:00pm
•EMPOWERING: March 1, 2025: 10:00am-5:00pm
•CORRECTING: April 26, 2025: 10:00am-5:00pm
Trainings will be held at the First Baptist Church Cumming, 1597 Sawnee Drive, Cumming, GA 30040.

*Please keep in mind when signing up: Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®) is a therapeutic model that trains caregivers to provide effective support and treatment for at-risk children and is being offered to families with reunification plans AND foster/kinship families AND the professionals who support both.
