Release, Indemnification, and Hold Harmless Agreement
By registering for this event, I am acknowledging that I am aware bicycling on public trails and roads is a potentially hazardous activity involving known and unanticipated risks. I am freely assuming all risks associated with my participation in this ride, including but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, contact with vehicles and the effects of weather, traffic and road conditions. All such risks are known, understood and accepted by me. I acknowledge that wearing a SNELL or U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) approved helmet is a requirement throughout this ride.
Having read this Release and knowing these facts, I hereby release for myself, my spouse, and for anyone else entitled to act on my behalf the organizers of the Bridges Ride and the named Sponsors as well as all officers, directors, members, shareholders, employees, representatives and/or any other person(s) acting on behalf of the Bridges Ride from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions or causes of action whatsoever related to injuries, damages or loss of property suffered while participating in, or travel to or from, this event. If my minor children are participating, this Release applies equally for them. This Agreement shall be construed and enforced in accordance with State of Iowa laws.
