'Going Global: The Role of Youth and the Future of Knowledge-Sharing' is a topic now more important than ever. Who were the first entrepreneurs to leverage globalization and technology? How did these trailblazers develop million dollar industries through creation of 'global classrooms'?
On October 6, U.S. Embassy Speaker: Ms. Marissa J. Polnerow will discuss these, the case of Khan Academy, opportunities for Kosovo and the world.

Marissa Polnerow worked in U.S. Embassies in Colombia, Nepal, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Morocco before beginning her assignment in Kosovo in 2020. Before entering the Foreign Service, Marissa was a Peace Corps volunteer from 2007-2009 in North Macedonia, where she headed non-pro organizations promoting entrepreneurship and youth development. Marissa speaks French, Spanish, Macedonian, and Nepali. She earned her Bachelors in Political Science and French from City University of New York–Hunter College, and her Master in International Affairs from Columbia University.
