Join the Student Press Law Center's screening of "Raise Your Voice" on Friday, Feb. 26th at 12:30 p.m. ET
Student Press Freedom Day (Feb. 26th) is a national day of action when we celebrate the contributions of student journalists and highlight the need for state laws to restore and protect their press freedom.

For three days, from February 25-27, Maribeth Romslo, the documentary filmmaker behind "Raise Your Voice," will be generously making her film available for streaming by the student press community, in honor of Student Press Freedom Day. The film follows the student journalists at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School as they navigate the aftermath of their school mass shooting as both survivors and journalists. The documentary explores youth free speech history in America, connecting the Parkland students to a broader story about young voices and their power through social movements.

Fill out this form to join the Student Press Law Center staff as we watch the movie during our staff lunch on Friday, Feb. 26th at 12:30 p.m. ET. Tell us a bit about yourself and then look out for the email inviting you to our live chat.
