Attached is a list of the activities being offered this year. All activities require transport and / or specialist equipment that needs to be hired therefore there will be a charge to most activities. The costs have been kept to a minimum so that all students have a chance to opt for their preferred activity.
Students are required to choose their three most preferred activities and number them in boxes, 1 = most preferred to 3 = third preferred option. In most cases students should be allocated with their first choice but it will be decided on a first come, first served basis. Activities may be cancelled if a minimum number of students do not choose the option. A 50% deposit for overnight activities is required to secure a place in the selected activity.
Activities need to be paid for in full no later than Friday 17 November 2017.
As this is a compulsory part of the school year, those students who have not paid by the due date will be placed in an activity programme being run at school. However, this is a valuable opportunity, and all Year 10 students are encouraged to participate.
Payment can be made to the office by direct credit 12-3486-0032080-02 or alternatively by cash, cheque, Eftpos or credit card (a 1.55% surcharge applies). Ensure student name and ID number are used as a reference. Please be aware that if you wish to withdraw your child from the trip once you have paid, a partial / full refund will only apply in justifiable circumstances, a medical certificate may need to be provided.
The Year 10 Dean will screen students and those who are deemed a safety risk will not be given the option to participate. These students will be required at school for participation in school-based activities.
Participation of this event will only take place if all school subject fees are paid in full or an automatic payment has been set up to ensure all fees are paid no later than the end of the school year.
