Spring 2018 Adjunct Orientation -- Wednesday, Jan 17, 2018 at 5:00 PM

Our biannual Orientation for Adjunct Faculty is co-sponsored by the offices of Information Technology & the Center for Excellence in Teaching & Learning. Join us for a streamlined evening session with essential resources to orient part-time faculty to teaching and technology at Daemen:
• Classroom technology, Blackboard, and WebAdvisor for student rosters and grading
• Tips for supporting students from Academic Advising, the Learning Center, and Disability Services

PARKING: There is a flat fee of $15 for a permit to park in the campus lots. You must request a parking permit, and you will be able to pick this up ​on 1-17-18 before Orientation at the Wick Security Desk. Visit www.daemen.edu/parking and complete the form.

Daemen ID: All adjunct faculty will be issued a Daemen ID. You can obtain your ID on Wednesday, 1-17-18, before Orientation (or any day during regular business hours). If this is not convenient for you, extended evening hours will be available at the start of the semester - more information to follow.​

If your schedule allows, we invite you to attend Daemen College's 12th Annual Learning & Teaching Symposium: Online Together on Monday, January 22nd, 2018 (8:30 am to 3:00 pm).
Keynote Address: "Why Online Quality Matters" by Danyelle O'Brien, Director of Online Learning at Alfred State College. The Symposium will also feature a faculty panel, Blackboard sessions, spark talks on key issues and more.
