Last week, 48,000 academic workers in the University of California system, including thousands here at UC Berkeley, voted overwhelmingly to authorize a strike. When the strike against California’s largest employer begins on Mon., 11/14, the picket lines will be huge and the impacts will be felt all the way to the Governor’s mansion.
