Volunteers are an essential part of the Western New York Land Conservancy. Even with much of the region shuttered due to social distancing measures, we have unique opportunities available. Please fill out this form to help us find activities that best match your interests.

Volunteer opportunities during quarantine. Check all that you are interested in:
Citizen science: identify plants and wildlife in your own yard or neighborhood (we will provide you with helpful materials)
Steward in place: remove invasive species and plant native species in your own yard or neighborhood (we will provide you with helpful materials)
Fundraising: make phone calls, send letters, or work with us on the campaign to save the College Lodge Forest
Social media: join our social media team to promote conservation online
Spread the word: take photos and videos on our preserves that you can share with us (and others)
Advocacy: help us with outreach to elected officials
Volunteer opportunities once the quarantine is over. Check all that you are interested in:
Outdoor/Stewardship Projects (e.g. trail work, invasive species removal, hikes, monitoring, etc.)
Indoor/Office Projects (e.g. mailings, event planning/support, phone calls, writing, research, etc.)
Outreach Projects (e.g. tabling at events, photography, graphic design, etc.)
