Brought to you by Lincoln Mill Haunted House, one of Philadelphia's most popular Halloween attractions, Ghost Tours of Manayunk is seeking outgoing, energetic, and dependable individuals to join our team as Tour Guides.
This is a unique opportunity to entertain guests while sharing the rich history, legends, and ghost stories of Manayunk. Guides will lead walking tours along the historic Manayunk Canal Towpath, creating an engaging and memorable experience through storytelling, performance, and guest interaction.
Responsibilities:
- Lead groups of guests on scheduled walking tours
- Present historical information, ghost stories, and local legends in an entertaining manner
- Engage with guests and maintain group safety throughout the tour
- Answer questions and provide excellent customer service
- Arrive on time and maintain a professional appearance
Qualifications:
- Strong public speaking and communication skills
- Outgoing, enthusiastic personality
- Comfortable performing in front of groups
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Interest in history, storytelling, theater, tourism, or haunted attractions is a plus
- Must be able to walk approximately one mile during each tour
