Student Advocate Award - Student Life Awards 2018
Have you been actively involved in a campaign that has achieved tangible outcomes? Do you advocate for change in a pragmatic manner? Student advocacy and campaigning lie at the heart of RUSU’s work, and we’d like to celebrate the work of an individual who has dedicated their time and energy to advocating for positive change within RMIT.

Eligibility Criteria:

Must be a current student at RMIT
- Must not be a current Office Bearer for the Union, employee of the Union, Catalyst editor or RMITV Office bearer.
- Must not have been a RUSU Office Bearer in 2017 or 2018.
- What issue or area has the student advocated for?
- Evidence that the campaign or advocacy work has been spearheaded or curated by the nominee, or represents a significant component of a large scale campaign.
- Applications for advocacy work in which the student only made a minor contribution or where the student did not hold a leadership position are not eligible for an award.
