About the Lobby Day
You're invited to participate in the Girls LEAD Act Virtual Lobby on October 7, 2021.  You will join advocates of all ages from across the country to call on our elected leaders to invest in girls’ leadership potential and establish pathways to enshrine their participation in policymaking processes. Meeting with Congressional offices is a powerful and effective way to advocate for girls’ rights around the world and encourage your leaders to act. You do not need lobbying experience to participate in the Lobby Day!  

Participants will:
-Join a prep call and brief training session on either October 5 or 6, from 4-5:30pm EST.
-Receive training and preparatory materials
-Join virtual meetings with Members' of Congress foreign policy staffers via Zoom on October 7.

Participants can choose to do a half day or full day of lobbying.

Please register by Thursday, September 30.
About the Bill
The Girls LEAD Act (S. 634, H.R. 1661) is a bipartisan bill that recognizes and promotes girls’ civic and political leadership as a priority in U.S. foreign assistance, particularly in efforts to promote and build strong and inclusive democracies and good governance.
