Women in Mathematics Playing Card Project
As AWM approaches our 50th anniversary, we have an amazing opportunity to partner with MAA and produce a deck of playing cards of Women in Mathematics (much like a recent project that came out of Notable Women in Computing). This is an amazing opportunity to make household names out of the women who have helped shape mathematics!

We want to invite you to be part of this project! There are distinct project subcommittees (described below). Please indicate which committees you would like to serve on (you can choose more than 1!).

Committees
(1) Project Management Committee (4-6 people): responsible for driving the development of the Notable Women in Math Playing Cards, and any related materials.
(2) Criteria Subcommittee (5 people): This subcommittee is establishing the criteria for when a person “qualifies” to be part of the deck and reviews the final versions. This committee is already complete, but reach out if you have specific interest or feedback.
(3) Data Collection Subcommittee (4 people, or as needed): This subcommittee will broadly collect information on women of mathematics to allow for subsequent committees to review and select the finalists, allowing opportunities for the greater community to weigh in with names.
(4) Selection Committee (4-6 people): this committee will manage the review process and the cadre of reviewers (estimated >50 reviewers needed).
