Complete this form to nominate a candidate for a three-year appointment to the Bioconductor Technical Advisory Board (TAB - see https://bioconductor.org/about/technical-advisory-board/ for more details). Self-nomination and nomination of others are acceptable; if nominating someone else please check with them first that they intend to accept the nomination.

The composition of the TAB is determined through a nomination and selection process defined in the Bioconductor TAB Governance Document (https://bioconductor.org/about/technical-advisory-board/TAB_Governance_v1.1.1.pdf). The TAB should:

- constitute a broad representation of the Bioconductor scientific community
- include emerging and established researchers in biological, statistical, and computational domains
- represent diversity of gender, race/ethnicity, geography, and other aspects of the Bioconductor community

Participation in the TAB obligates the member to regular participation in a monthly TAB teleconference and to follow the Bioconductor TAB Governance Document. Nominees are encouraged to be specific about any committees they would like to participate in or initiatives they would like to lead. Some existing and planned committees within the Bioconductor project are: Classes and Methods, Infrastructure, Governance, Cloud Methods, Mass Spectrometry, Spatial omics, various conference organizing committees (see http://workinggroups.bioconductor.org/). The TAB helps determine the overall direction of the project, providing guidance to developers and investigators on new concepts in computational biology and genome research, and acts as an incubation group for the collaborative pursuit of funding for the project.
